Cozy up on those cold fall or winter nights with an animated fireplace screensaver. Hear the sounds of the realistic flames or set the screen saver up as a virtual fireplace screensaver with three appearance options: Stone, Dark Marble, or Rose Marble. You can even show a log, andirons and hear the crackling sound everyone loves. If you don't want the fireplace effect choose to display just the fires flames on your desktop.

Burn Baby Burn is a simple but different screensaver for Windows. It basically consists of a burning fire, to which you can add a fireplace, log and andirons. It looks pretty real and features typical burning fire and wood cracking sound. It is pretty customizable, since it allows users to choose from three types of fireplaces (one made of stone, another of dark marble, and other of rose marble), as well as adjust the flame size (height and width), and flame speed. Users can even add a clock and display a message, with the possibility of customizing the font size.
What is more, users can even configure the mouse sensitivity and sound effects (roaring flame or fireplace). It also enables users to select hotkeys to start and stop sound or set the program to stop the sound after certain amount of minutes. I really liked the fire effects and sound, but what I didn't like much is the fireplaces and andirons since they look very fake and ruin the scene. The great news is that you can decide whether you wish to include them or not. |
